Afrikamera Shorts – Utopias / Dystopias

In the AFRICAMERA SHORTS – UTOPIAS / DYSTOPIAS program (Rwanda 2018–23) short films between utopia and dystopia form the focus. They include MULIKA, a poetic short made by Congolese Maisha Maene, in which an "Afronaut" wanders through the eastern Congolese city of Goma after his spaceship crashes, trying to understand from the inhabitants what he should do to change their future for the better. Maene will attend the screening, as will the director of TERRA MATER Kantarama Gahigiri. (fw)
